To install Firetools, you first need to be using a Linux-based operating system.
From your desktop, open the Terminal application.

Inside the terminal, enter the following command:
sudo apt install firejail firetoolsThis installs both:
Firejail — the sandboxing engine
Firetools — the graphical interface for Firejail
Press Enter after typing the command.
If prompted, enter your system password.
Keep in mind that Linux terminals usually do not display password characters while typing. Your keyboard is not broken.
The package download will begin.
You may then be asked if you want to continue the installation by entering Y/N.
Type: Y
Then press Enter.

The installation will continue.
Fortunately, Firetools is fairly lightweight, so this part usually finishes quickly unless your internet connection is being powered by two hamsters and a dying router.
Once the installation is complete, Firetools is now installed on your system.
To open Firetools:
Open your applications menu or start menu
Search for: Firetools

Open the Firetools application to get started.
The application icon usually appears as a small banner style icon. Once opened, Firetools allows you to launch supported applications inside isolated sandboxes using Firejail in the background.
